sound of trumpets, drum roll .... annunciazioneeee !!!!; after an absence of about (gulp) twenty years! even if it seems to me yesterday, I returned to the magical atmosphere of music and words on the radio, in a few words back to DJing in the historic station in my hometown, Lodi Radio. Here you see me with my friend and colleague Barbara during her direct.
I slipped to say a few words but the emotion was so strong that the voice could hardly be felt, it was not even the first time!! ahahaha obviously years in stand-by who had the upper hand on all direct made in the past.
not only the emotion but a sense of loss hit me today as the radios have been "modernized" with a computer system (of course), who put in "retirement" vinyl discs and plates, and so management of the broadcast is "something new"!
I started my apprenticeship as a director in 1979 (the last century ahahaha), when I was 12, and I immediately loved the music, records and "doing the radio."
The emotions of those years are beyond description, related precisely to the seventies and the fervor of music that is still with us .... if you mind .... local so many beautiful songs (and now famous), are just relegated to that decade and early 80s.
up close the file of records and review them next to each other so much it seemed to instantly lose 30 years!! ... type lifting effect without cutting and stitching and outside do not notice, my face has remained the same ahahahaha!!
Now I am left to wonder if I'll still be able to carry the transmission from start to finish but I'm trying doing an internship pending direct.
